There is little difference between people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether that attitude is positive or negative. I maintain that you cannot have a positive life and a negative mind. Train your mind to see the good in everything. Positivity is a choice. The happiness of your life will depend on the quality of your thoughts. Remember that your thoughts become your words. Your words become your behavior. Your behavior becomes your habits. Your habits become your values, and your values become your destiny. Practice taking 1 day and not complaining about anything for a full day. You will see the results, and so will others. Stop focusing on how stressed you are and start focusing more on how blessed you are. The only difference between a good day and a bad day is your attitude. In my karate program we start teaching our students at an early age our code of ethics, one of which is "I will maintain a positive frame of mind and convey this feeling to every person I meet". It's all about maintaining a positive attitude and looking for the good in situations. Know that even if you stumble, you are still moving forward, so be sure not to focus so much on your stumbles that you fail to realize that you are moving forward. For today, make the decision not to complain about anything, not to criticize anyone, refrain from judging, gossiping, or speaking ill of others, choose positive thoughts, and have a great day.
